1. Tell us about your working background
With over a decade of experience in recruitment, I’ve built a career driven by a genuine passion for connecting people with opportunities where they can thrive. My journey has taken me through roles in the NHS and wider public sector, where I developed a strong appreciation for the impact great hiring can have on organisations and the communities they serve.
I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of industries, placing talent in STEM, senior leadership, and business operations roles.
2. What is your role at Connect2Swindon?
I work as a Talent Partner at Connect2Swindon, specialising in Qualified Social Work recruitment and driving impactful placements that support essential community services.
3. What do you like about working in recruitment?
I really enjoy working in recruitment because it allows me to connect people with opportunities that genuinely change their careers and lives. There’s something incredibly rewarding about understanding someone’s goals and helping them find the right fit.
4. What are you most looking forward to about your new role?
I’m looking forward to joining Connect2Swindon and connecting with talented professionals in the Qualified Social Work space. I’m especially excited about building relationships, supporting candidates in their career journeys, and contributing to meaningful placements across the service.
5. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me trying out new food spots or heading to the theatre. I’m on a mission to see as many musicals as possible!
6. Any top tips for jobseekers?
Always make sure to tailor your CV to the role you are applying for, be clear in your motivations and think about any successes you have had that make a difference, and not just a list of day-to-day responsibilities.
